During much of the class I have been urging people not to include sky… With one caveat: include sky when the photograph really is about the sky… Or another way of putting it that the sky really contributes to the overall composition. In the bottom two this is certainly the case. The compositions are all about the sky and cloud formations as well as light. I'm intrigued by the strange little chapel set amidst the trees in the top one.
Well if you had given grades and actual instructions on assignments, then I would have been able to see that you have a personal preference of not including the sky. But since that has not been the case, I had no idea. Personally, I like them and how they look like they could be paintings.
